The Storage Equipment Manufacturers Association, founded in 1970, is the national association representing manufacturers of storage products and associated materials handling equipment, providing an industry voice on storage equipment, systems and related matters.

SEMA produces a range of publications (Codes of Practice) providing advice to users on most aspects of the design, manufacture and installation of storage systems.

All SEMA members have achieved or are committed to achieving certification to BS EN ISO 9000 in conjunction with a specially developed Quality Assurance Schedule.
